A one-day seminar on the design of Connection in Timber structures using NZS 3603.

The seminar's objective is to educate practicing structural engineers in designing timber connections using nails, bolts, screws and dowels. Plenty of examples will be presented as well as some shortcomings. Practical connectors available on the market will also be shown.

The intended outcome of the seminar is that structural engineers will be able to design, with confidence, connections for timber structures.
