2008 NZWood/Timber Design Seminar Series

This joint seminar brought to you by The New Zealand Timber Design Society and NZWood intended to provide insight into developments on support for the use of timber in buildings.

Architects, building owners, quantity surveyors and others in the building process need to be able to determine appropriate uses of timber in structures during the conceptual design stage. Local as well as overseas examples were shown to highlight how timber can be used in place of other construction materials. The seminars also provided architects and engineers alike, with an update on tools being developed to ease the specification of timber.
