| The behaviour of sound in buildings and techniques for its control are beginning to be reasonably understood. However, prediction techniques for partition behaviour and for how sound will reticulate though buildings are still unable to provide answers good enough for detailed design purposes. Empirical development has provided some lightweight timber designs with high performance. |
