AGM

The 2010 Annual General Meeting of the NZ Timber Design Society will be held in Auckland on the 8th of February 2010. The AGM will be held in the Board Room of Jasmax Architects, 2 Marston St Parnell, Auckland. 09-366 9626

Presentation

Following the AGM, there will be a presentation on the new Diocesan School for Girls Aquatic Centre in Epsom which won the Commercial Engineering Excellence award at the recent New Zealand Timber Design Awards. This centre is a world-class, indoor pool complex, providing year-round, all-weather facilities for aquatic sports such as swimming, lifesaving, underwater hockey and water polo, as well as general fitness and water safety skills. Presenters will be Jon Haagh from Structure Design Ltd (the engineers) and Graham Upton from Upton Architects Limited (the architects) with input also from Owen Griffiths from McIntosh Timber Laminates.
