In future of wood building projects in general itwould be wise to have to structural designers thatare really doing the dimensioning and calculationsinvolved at early stages of draft design. It will be toolate to have the structural designer involved whenthe shape and materials of the building are alreadydecided. This leaves little to no room for optimizationor good structural design choices at the stage wheredecisions are already made. Solutions are thereafteronly acceptable or compromises to reach the givengoal. In the design process designers should be givenenough design time and not to be rushed to makehastily decisions that would later require redesign inworst case.
